EV Charger Terms and Conditions

These EV Terms apply to the supply and/or installation of electric vehicle charging equipment and should be read alongside our General Terms & Conditions.

1. Pre-Installation Requirements

1.1 All EV installations are subject to a site survey or information provided by the client.
1.2 Quotations assume the existing electrical supply is adequate. Any required upgrades (e.g. consumer unit, earthing, DNO works) are excluded unless stated.

2. Regulations and Notifications

2.1 Installations will comply with BS 7671, including Section 722.
2.2 Where required, we will notify Building Control via the appropriate competent persons scheme.
2.3 Any DNO notifications or approvals required due to load demand will be advised but may be outside our control.

3. Client-Supplied Equipment

3.1 EV chargers supplied by the client are installed at the client’s risk.
3.2 We accept no responsibility for faults, compatibility issues, or manufacturer defects in client-supplied equipment.

4. Smart Features and Connectivity

4.1 We are not responsible for Wi-Fi signal strength, mobile network coverage, or third-party apps required for smart charger functionality.
4.2 Configuration support is limited to basic commissioning unless otherwise agreed.

5. Groundworks and Making Good

5.1 Groundworks, trenching, reinstatement, or specialist surfaces are excluded unless expressly stated.
5.2 Cosmetic finishes are subject to site conditions and are not guaranteed to be invisible.

6. Grant Schemes

6.1 Any reference to EV grants (e.g. OZEV) is provided in good faith.
6.2 We are not liable if eligibility criteria change or applications are rejected.
